It's been a while...

... but I am still runnig this blog. I had a very relaxing summer, hence the lack of posts. I don't even know if anybody still bothers to look for updates of my blog. Ah well, there might be a few of you who do. So for all the friends of the Cappa Magna, here is a Special with photos of Fernando Cardinal Quiroga Palacios from Spain. He was born in 1900, ordained bishop of Mondonedo in 1946, ordained archbishop of Santiago de Compostela in 1949 and made a cardinal in 1953. He died in 1971.

As cardinal. Mantellettas are a rare find nowadays, too, so I thought I might as well add this picture. Plus, the Cardinal seems to have been quite the aristocratic type, non?
