The last photo shows the moment when James Cardinal McIntyre collapsed during re-opening of the council due to heat and fatigue. Really, those Cappae should come with a warning.
You might be interested to know that about the Order Cappae. When my Grandfather was at school at Ampleforth Abbey the Abbot would wear a black Cappa with the fur which would be carried behind by two boys from the school in 16th Century gear with ruffs etc. Very fun. Their is an hole book somewhere in one of thoughs online libraries which explains every detail of churchmen's dress (before Paul VI, naturally). You should take a look.
